on saturday i went for a hike/photo outing with a few friends in the niagara region. it was quite the hike to get down to this place, though ive gone here with mike sicoli before…it was only in the winter. this place was much different in the summer, water levels very low that provided access to places i haven’t been before.
i was shooting a retirement party the other day and i was testing out exposure settings in the banquet room against the window lighting. here was a test shot that ended up obviously too dark (trying out spot metering, but ended up just using exposure bias by a couple stops). i still like the shot though, you can see a marina with a bunch of boats in the background as well.
a close-up of some flowers seen in niagara falls, one of the parks on the niagara parkway…not sure which one. sorry i haven’t posted much, i’ve been busy with work and the band…saving up for a new flash and lens still! i have a few more photos coming up over the next few days, so keep checking back, and thanks for checking in.
